It's a Sign is located in Killam, Alberta, Canada. Started in 2024, to commemorate the memory of my younger brother and bring the beauty of words into your home. Each piece is hand made with love, joy and care. My signs are meant to spread the importance of words, inspiration, warmth, humor, sentiment or provoke thought. Hopefully the signs will give reminders of special people, moments, feelings, and pets.
My signs are homemade from a new skill I am learning. Some signs are hand painted stencils, letter by letter and some are done using a Cricut machine with vinyl lettering. Some signs have a walnut stain finish amd others have a painted white background. Each piece of wood varies by the pieces I find to use. Some signs are framed and others are not. This makes each sign unique. I thrive on using other people's request for simple chosen words. A special word a grandmother called you, the name of a loved relative, pet, an old address.It is endless the sign I could stencil for you. (Due to my machine's abilities I am only able to make simple two to 6 word signs.)
My hope is to add warmth to your place with the sign I create, one that will be unique and meaningful to you and create a "one of a kind" tone to your space.
